Heilman to speak at Notre Dame baseball event

Former Notre Dame All-American and Major League pitcher Aaron Heilman will be the guest speaker at Notre Dame’s “Meet the Team Dinner” Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 6-9 in Club Naimoli at the Joyce Center

Following the dinner, the team will have their heads shaved to raise money for The St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Heilman, who played for the Mets, Cubs and Diamondbacks over nine years, was the 14th Division I pitcher to reach 40-plus wins and 400-plus strikeouts in a career.

A pre-dinner reception with the Notre Dame coaches and Heilman will be held from 6-6:45 p.m.

Tickets are on sale at or can be purchased weekdays from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. (ET) by phone at (574) 631-7356 or in person at Gate 9.

Several ticket packages are available:

  • Reception and dinner, which will include season passes, is $100 for adults and $80 for youth/seniors.
  • For dinner only, tickets are $65 for adults and $45 for youth/seniors, and includes a season pass for baseball and softball.
  • If a fan has purchased a season pass, the cost is $25 for adults and $15 for youth/seniors.
  • A fan pack — four tickets to the dinner and four season passes is $200 — while a fan pack that includes four dinner admissions is $65.
