Notre Dame swimming and diving: Irish men win twice

Notre Dame put together seven race wins overall and nine runner-up finishes to pick up a pair of dual meet wins Saturday at the conclusion of the Shamrock Invitational.

Notre Dame downed Missouri State, 223-147, and defeated Iowa 224½-147½.

Shane McKenzie (400 IM, 3:55.52), Frank Dyer (200 freestyle, 1:37.28), Joe Coumos (1-meter, 355.80), Joe Petrone (1650 free, 15:40.81), John Williamson (200 butterfly, 1:48.43) and Michael Hudspith (100 free, 45:07) claimed individual wins for the Irish.
