Notre Dame softball: Irish win 2 in tourney

Notre Dame won two games at the Jacksonville (Fla.) University Tournament, Saturday scrapping to a 6-3 victory in game one against No. 23 Louisville before closing out host Jacksonville, 9-1, in five innings. The Irish are 5-1 this season.

Karley Wester had a two-RBI single in the fourth and Katey Haus a two-run double in the 6-3 wins.

In the second game, sophomore Allie Rhodes allowed one hit in five innings.

Laura Winter, Emilee Koerner and Wester had two RBIs.
