Notre Dame women's lacrosse: Fortunato earns award

Notre Dame freshman Courtney Fortunato was named the national Rookie of the Week.

Fortunato scored four goals and had an assist in Notre Dame’s win over then-No. 12 Stony Brook on Saturday night.

Fortunato leads the Irish in points with 13 (nine goals and four assists) and has scored the game-winning goal in both of Notre Dame’s victories this season.
