Notre Dame tennis: ND women fall to Duke

Top-ranked Duke knocked off No. 25 Notre Dame, 6-1, Friday in women's college tennis action at Durham, N.C.

A highlight for the Irish (5-5) was their 23rd-ranked doubles team of sophomore Quinn Gleason and senior Britney Sanders upending Duke's Beatrice Capra and Hanna Mar, ranked fourth in the country, 8-4.

Gleason was strong in singles play as well, beating 18th-ran ked Ester Goldfeld, 6-0, 6-4.
