Notre Dame softball: Irish split with Georgia Tech
Laura Winter gave up two hits and struck out 12 in a complete-game effort, hit a home run and drove in a pair of runs to lead Notre Dame to a 3-0 win over Georgia Tech in the first game of an ACC doubleheader Saturday in Atlanta.
Jenna Simon added a pair of hits for the Irish.
The Yellow Jackets (13-5, 2-3) rebounded to upend Notre Dame 7-3 in the second game.
Chloe Saganowich hit a two-run homer for Notre Dame (16-4, 1-1).
