Notre Dame softball: Winter earns ACC honor

Notre Dame’s Laura Winter earned ACC Pitcher of the Week honors, it was announced Monday.

Over the weekend, Winter tossed a pair of shutouts at Georgia Tech. She scattered five hits over 12 innings, walked one and struck out 19.

Winter now has the Notre Dame career strikeout record with 909. She has a 1.78 ERA, 10 complete games, four shutouts and 99 strikeouts in 82ð innings.
