Notre Dame women's lacrosse: Irish win at Arlotta

Playing in its first outdoor home game of the season, the Notre Dame women’s lacrosse team had nine different players score a goal in a 12-5 victory over Marquette at Arlotta Stadium.
Cortney Fortunato, Caitlin Gargan and Kiera McMullan all scored two goals and added an assist for the No. 6 Irish (7-3), who had played their first four home games inside the Loftus Center.
Liz O’Sullivan got her first career start in goal and made 11 saves to earn her second win.
In the defensive midfield, Margaret Smith had a game-high five ground balls, two caused turnovers, two draw controls and her first goal of the season
