Notre Dame swimming: ND's Dyer finishes in top five

Notre Dame senior men's swimmer Frank Dyer capped his collegiate 200 freestyle racing career with his second-ever national top five finish in the distance on Friday night at the 2014 NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas.

Seeded fifth entering the event's 'A' final, Dyer posted a championship heat time of 1:33.43 to claim a fifth-place finish, earning his second career All-America scroll in the 200 freestyle and third overall All-America citation.
