Notre Dame women's lacrosse: Stanford slides by Irish

Cortney Fortunato had three goals and an assist, while Kiera McMullan also picked up three points Saturday but No. 6 Notre Dame lost 11-10 to Stanford at Arlotta Stadium.

The Irish led 8-5 at intermission, but Stanford (8-1) held Notre Dame to two second-half goals.

Caitlin Gargan scored twice to help Notre Dame (8-4).
