Notre Dame men's tennis: Heels trip Irish
Eighth-ranked North Carolina beat No. 9 Notre Dame, 5-2, in an Atlantic Coast Conference men’s tennis match at Notre Dame Sunday. The Irish are 13-7.
North Carolina made a clean sweep of the Irish in the doubles matches.
The Irish singles’ highlight came when senior Greg Andrews beat Brayden Schnur, the 10th-ranked player in the country. Andrews fell behind before taking a 5-7, 6-1, 6-1 win. Quentin Monaghan had the other Irish victory at No. 3 singles.
