Notre Dame women's tennis: Irish sweep Wake Forest

The Notre Dame women’s tennis team swept Wake Forest, 7-0, Sunday, to improve to 10-8.

“We played well today, but with a lot of these teams, the doubles is key,” said head coach Jay Louderback. “If we go in 1-0, it’s hard for them to win four singles matches against us. For No. 2 doubles to come back was probably the key to the match. They did a great job of not panicking when they were down, which as two seniors, they should.”

The No. 2 team of Jennifer Kellner and Julie Sabacinski fell behind 4-1 before coming back to take an 8-6 win.
