Notre Dame men's lacrosse: Duke downs Irish

Five goals from Deemer Class and four from Jordan Wolf propelled No. 3 Duke to a 15-7 victory Saturday over No. 7 Notre Dame in Atlantic Coast Conference men’s lacrosse action at Arlotta Stadium.
Junior midfielder Nick Ossello scored a team-high two goals for Notre Dame. Junior attackman Conor Doyle had a goal and three assists.
Duke out-shot Notre Dame 44-34, while the Irish won the face-off battle, 15-10. Senior Liam O’Connor took every attempt for the Irish. The Blue Devils were 3-of-5 in man-up opportunities; Notre Dame was 2-of-6.
Notre Dame is 4-4, 2-2 in the ACC.
