Notre Dame women's tennis: Irish sweep Panthers

The Notre Dame women’s team earned its fourth consecutive sweep Sunday in beating Pittsburgh, 7-0. The 20th-ranked Irish improve to 12-8 (4-6 Atlantic Coast Conference). The Panthers fall to 4-11 (0-11).

Playing outside, the Irish tallied doubles wins at No. 3 (Mary Closs/Molly O’Koniewski), No. 2 (Jennifer Kellner/Julie Sabacinski) and No. 1 (Quinn Gleason/Britney Sanders).

Closs also added a win in singles as did Sanders at No. 1. Monica Robinson, Julie Vrabel, Jennifer Kellner and Gleason.
