Notre Dame track and field: Irish men, women 8th

Notre Dame's men's and women's track teams are in eighth place following the second day at the Outdoor Atlantic Coast Conference Track and Field Championships

The men have 15 points and women have 19 points. Florida State leads Virginia Tech, 67-37, in women's competition while the Seminoles have a 48-46 edge for the men's lead.

ND's Alexa Aragon was second in the women's steeplechase final with a time of 10:11.52 and Emily Morris finished fourth in the shot put with a 15.96m throw.
