Notre Dame men's lacrosse: Terps knock off Irish

Notre Dame sophomore Matt Kavanagh scored a pair of goals and had four assists but fifth-ranked Maryland scored the final four goals of the game to capture a 12-8 victory Saturday in South Bend.

Conor Doyle added two goals for the No. 8 Irish, who wrapped up their regular season but will square off against the Terrapins (10-2, 4-1) on Friday in the ACC Tournament.

Conor Kelly made 14 saves for Notre Dame (6-5, 2-3).
