Notre Dame softball: ND tops Valpo

Notre Dame scored seven unanswered runs, including four in the bottom of the fifth inning, to erase an early deficit and defeat Valparaiso, 7-2, Thursday at Cook Stadium.
No. 21 Notre Dame (31-10) won its 32nd straight game against Valparaiso, dating back to the 1990 season.
Junior All-American Emilee Koerner led all offensive players with three base hits, including a two-RBI double, and scored one run.
