Notre Dame tennis: Irish women lose to Miami

The Notre Dame women's tennis team fell short in the quarterfinals of the ACC Championship, dropping a match to No. 2 seed Miami, 4-2.

Quinn Gleason topped the Irish effort with a 7-6, 7-6 victory at No. 2 singles.

SINGLES: 1. Stephanie Wagner (M) beat Britney Sanders, 6-2, 7-6; 2. Quinn Gleason (ND) beat Kelsey Laurente, 7-6, 7-6; 3. Lina Lileikite (M) vs. Jennifer Kellner, 6-7, 6-5, unfinished; 4. Monica Robinson (ND) beat Clementina Riobueno, 1-6, 6-4, 6-4; 5. Melissa Bolivar (M) beat Mary Closs, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2; 6. Monique Albuquerque (M) beat Julie Vrabel, 6-3, 6-2.

DOUBLES: 1. Monique Albuquerque-Clementina Riobueno (M) beat Quinn Gleason-Britney Sanders, 8-2; 2. Julie Sabacinski-Jennifer Kellner (ND) beat Kelsey Laurente-Melissa Bolivar, 5-4; 3. Stephanie Wagner-Lina Lileikite (M) beat Molly O'Koniewski-Mary Closs, 8-6.
