Notre Dame men's golf: Platt earns bid to regional

Notre Dame senior Niall Platt has earned a bid to the regional stage of the NCAA Men’s Golf Championship and will compete at the NCAA Sugar Grove (Ill.) Regional at Rich Harvest Farms, May 15-17.

Platt, who holds the best career scoring average (73.08) in program history, posted four top-5, five top-10, and 10 top-25 finishes during 11 starts his senior season. He will make his third start in an NCAA Regional tournament.
