Notre Dame softball: Koerner, Winter earn honors

Notre Dame junior All-American Emilee Koerner was named the Atlantic Coast Conference player of the week following a .769 batting average with two doubles, a triple, three home runs and eight RBIs.

Senior Laura Winter was named the league’s pitcher of the week following a 3-0 mark as a starter. She fanned 23 batters in three games. She added two home runs and seven RBIs over the course of the week.
