Notre Dame's women's team is in 18th place after shooting a 23-over-par 311 in the second round of the NCAA West Regional at Tumble Creek Club (par 72) in Cle Elum, Wash.

The score gives the Irish a two-day total of 627.

Top-ranked Southern California and No. 6 Arizona lead the event with two-day totals of 578.

Junior Ashley Armstrong and sophomore Talia Campbell led the Irish Friday with scores of 77. Armstrong has a two-day total of 153 and Campbell has a 157.

The top eight teams from the regional advance to the national finals May 20-23.
