Notre Dame lacrosse: Tourney clash at ND

No. 11-ranked Harvard (10-6) visits No. 5 Notre Dame (9-5) Saturday at 2:30 p.m. (ET) at Arlotta Stadium in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The game will be aired on ESPNU.

The winner of the Notre Dame-Harvard contest will take on the winner of the first-round match between No. 3 seed Loyola and Albany in the quarterfinals on May 17 in Hempstead, N.Y.

Notre Dame's is making its ninth straight appearance in the NCAA Championships. Notre Dame owns a 12-18 record in its 18 trips to the tournament. Every appearance has occurred under head coach Kevin Corrigan.

Notre Dame's best performance in the NCAAs was a finalist finish in 2010. The Irish have been to Championship Weekend three times (2001, 2010, 2012).
