Notre Dame women's golf: Irish season ends

The Notre Dame women concluded its 2013-14 season with an 18th-place finish at the 2014 NCAA West Regional at the Tumble Creek Club (par 72, 6252 yards) at the Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Wash., under windy conditions.
The Irish shot a 34-over-par 322 to finish with a three-day 949 (+85) total (316-311-322).
Juniors Ashley Armstrong and Kelly Oride led the Irish with three-day totals of 233 and 236, respectively. Oride shot 77 Saturday.
Top-ranked and No. 1 seed Southern California won the tournament with a 12-over-par 876. Pacific-12 conference teams swept the top three spots as the top eight teams advance to the national finals, May 20-23, in Tulsa, Okla.
