Notre Dame tennis: Gleason falls

Notre Dame sophomore Quinn Gleason lost to 12th-ranked Breaunna Addison of Texas in the round of 32 Thursday, 6-1, 6-1. at Athens, Ga., at the NCAA Tournament.

Later in the day, Gleason and Britney Sanders beat Vanderbilt's Courtney Colton and Lauren Mira, 6-4, 2-6, 7-5 to advance to Friday's next round. They'll face third-seeded Hayley Carter and Jamie Loeb of North Carolina.
