Notre Dame softball: Koerner is All-America

Notre Dame junior Emilee Koerner highlighted a group of three Irish players who were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division I All-America team.

Koerner earned first-team honors after hittin .433 with 11 home runs and 51 RBIs. She set school records in doubles (28) and runs (65) and got on base at a .495 clip.

Sophomore Micaela Arizmendi was named to the second team and finished second in the ACC with 61 RBIs, tied for second with 17 doubles and was fourth with 15 home runs.

Also on the second team was freshman Karley Wester, who led the ACC with a .455 batting average, 81 hits, four triples, and 26 stolen bases.
