Notre Dame tennis: ND trio honored

Following the Notre Dame men's tennis team's first season in the Atlantic Coast Conference, Irish players Greg Andrews and Ryan Bandy, both seniors, and sophomore Quentin Monaghan have been named to the 2014 All-ACC Academic Men's Tennis Team.

Andrews graduated from the Mendoza College of Business with a major in accounting this spring while serving as captain of the squad and playing No. 1 singles and doubles.

Bandy also graduated from the Mendoza College of Business this spring with a major in management consulting. He served as a crucial link in the lineup this spring at No. 2 singles, and he has already begun his career at PNC National Bank in his hometown of Cincinnati.

Monaghan also majors in management consulting in Mendoza. He consistently played at No. 3 singles this spring, and it was his victory of Stefan Lindmark of Ole Miss that clinched Notre Dame's advancement to the NCAA Sweet 16.
