Notre Dame hockey: Irish add legacy Bjork

Anders Bjork of Mequon, Wis., has signed a letter-of-intent to join the Notre Dame hockey team this season.

Bjork, the 5-foot-11, 182-pound son of Irish hockey All-American Kirt Bjork (1983), is a left-handed forward who spent the past two seasons with the U.S. National Team Developmental Program and played for the Under-18 team. Last year he finished sixth in scoring with 21 goals and 21 assists.
