NOTABLE: Irish freshman goaltender Cal Petersen was named the Hockey East Goaltender of the Month after leading the country with a .962 save percentage in February, and his 1.48 goals-against average was fourth best nationally in that span... Notre Dame finished fifth in Hockey East, while UMass finished last... The Irish swept the Minutemen in Amherst, Mass. back in Dec. by the scores of 7-5 and 4-0... The Minutemen haven't won a Hockey East Tournament game since 2009, and haven't won a series since 2007... If the Irish win the series, they will travel to face UMass Lowell next weekend...
