Notre Dame (16-7) got four hits from Ryan Lidge and three RBIs from Kyle Richardson in an 8-3 victory over Western Michigan Wednesday at ND's Frank Eck Stadium.

Zak Kutsulis added two hits among ND's 12.

Western Michigan dropped to 8-12 

Ryan Smoyer picked up the win after allowing two runs on six hits through 5 1/3 innings. He struck out three.
