LAST TIME OUT: Merrimack was swept at No. 9 Cornell, 3-0 and 5-2; Notre Dame beat Western Michigan at home last Friday, 7-1, and earned a 3-3 tie in Kalamazoo on Saturday.

NOTABLE: Notre Dame enters the weekend with an eight-game unbeaten streak (5-0-3), tied for the longest such streak in the country with No. 1 North Dakota (8-0-0). It's ND's longest unbeaten stretch since going 7-0-1 from Feb. 2 through March 14 of 2014 ... Merrimack has lost five straight and has just one win in its last 12 ... The Irish have scored first in 17 of their 21 games this season, including both last weekend ...
