Gross and Irish edge Duluth
DULUTH, Minn. — Jordan Gross scored at the 5:01 mark of the third period to snap a 1-all tie and lift No. 5 Notre Dame to a 3-1 win over fourth-ranked Minnesota Duluth Saturday at Amsoil Arena.

Malmquist assisted on Gross' goal and added an insurance tally 55 seconds after the game-winner. Cal Petersen collected 27 saves in the victory for Notre Dame, which improved to 3-1. Minnesota Duluth dropped to 3-1-2.
