HOCKEYND's Hellickson signs AHL contract

Senior Notre Dame defenseman Matt Hellickson has signed a contract with the Binghamton Devils (American Hockey League) for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.

Hellickson was selected by Binghamton’s NHL club, the New Jersey Devils, in the seventh round (214th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

In his four-year Irish career, Hellickson skated in 146 consecutive games, totaling 13 goals and 39 assists for 52 points.
