SOUTH BEND — The status of Brianna Turner's left knee, and her availability for Friday's Lexington Regional opener against Ohio State on Friday, was left unresolved Monday.

According to a Notre Dame spokesman, a definitive word on the immediate future of the Irish women's basketball standout won't be announced until Tuesday.

She was scheduled to undergo tests Monday on the knee she injured just before halftime of Sunday night's 88-82 NCAA Tournament second-round victory over Purdue.

Turner leads the Irish with 15.3 points and 7.1 rebounds a game. She is shooting .619 from the field.
